First time to this location after years of eating here in Austin, TX. Was still the same great tacos. The Democrat is my favorite, even tho not my favorite party the Loaded Queso was the best I have ever had, and very hot. My mouth was burning! So wish there was a Torchy's in Fort Myers!
Review of The Scallywag - really damn good taco of the month featuring coconut-battered shrimp, bacon, green chiles, pickled onions, jack cheese, cilantro and scratch-made peach habanero jam on a corn tortilla. The shrimps were huge, crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The sweetness of the peach habanero jam, the tanginess of the pickled red onions, the subtle heat of the green chiles and the saltiness of the bacon work in perfect harmony with every bite! I found a new fave! @Torchy's, the Scallywag deserves a spot in your secret menu - pretty please
Shrimp taco is so good. The shrimp is so meaty and well cooked. Also, their cheese dip is fire!! The best ever, along with the chips! I'll be back for more.
I enjoyed the tacos I picked! I picked the brisket and my husband picked the Baja. We both shared a half, and both were really good! I could do without the jalapeños on the Baja, but an easy fix. The chips and queso also hit the spot. I love al la carts style places.
